WebJul 30, 2004 · No one was able to login even root from the console. We were getting "Login Incorrect" as soon as the username was typed. I rebooted in Single user mode, deleted the log file, so space was not an issue, rebooted in multiuser mode and I'm Still getting the "Login Incorrect" at the console, for root or any other user.
