I used Rust-o-leum aircraft stripper to clean off the old powder coat, then I used 2000 grit sandpaper with WD-40 to sand them. I used some polish from a Busch's kit I had bought to polish some Corvette wheels and they shine like chrome!

Any thoughts on how to remove pitting and get the shine back. I don't want to drop $300 on chrome replacements if I don't have to.
